Sour Diesel is one of the most legendary strains in cannabis history, yet few know its true origins. First cultivated in Upstate New York in 1994, The Original Sour Diesel was a staple of the state’s legacy cannabis market. However, in today’s legal industry, it has become increasingly rare.
Our mission is to bring this iconic heirloom strain back to New York’s regulated cannabis market and make it more accessible to consumers. To achieve this, we are seeking strategic partnerships with licensed New York cultivators and retailers who share our commitment to preserving and expanding Sour Diesel’s legacy.

Sour Diesel BX1
We started with @dominionseedcoactual strain Hoodoo. We selected a male matching my favorite lady of the bunch. Crossing Sour x Hoodoo we created the first step. We then selected the male from 100 seeds, getting 43 males. From those males the intention was to flower the closest matching males to the original sour using structure, leaf formation, growth patterns, smell etc. There was one plant the stood out among all the others, everything matched and it was the only one. With the end goal of recreating the original sour in seed form this was the obvious choice. It was still really early in flower so the other males were culled and the 32+ year old cut was dropped into flower with him.
